It’s football season and in our home there is nothing better! My husband and I participate in a fantasy football league together (he also has 3 other teams too!) and we like to host people every week for football viewing parties in our home. Sometimes it is just my in-laws and the kids and at other times, we have a house full.
Setting up a DIY Popcorn buffet for our game day viewings is a must.
DIY Popcorn Buffet
Simply pop a big bowl of popcorn and have a variety of mix-ins ready to be added to individual brown bags. So easy and everyone loves it!
Some mix-in ideas: savory or sweet. I love cutting up SNICKERS® Bars to add to the popcorn- there is something about the combination of chocolate, caramel, nuts and popcorn together that make it the ultimate treat!
This week have I have Parmesan cheese, rosemary salt and pretzels for the savory, as well as SNICKERS®, coconut flakes and sprinkles for the sweet to include in our buffet.
When serving I love to make these browns bags look like footballs with cute laces drawn on. So easy- simply take a brown paper lunch bag and draw laces on with white chalk marker.
You could probably use thin masking tape as well, but it is so easy to be creative with items you have on hand in the house.
How awesome are these football SNICKERS® bars? Now you can route on your favorite team plays!
Football is definitely on our tv every Sunday and we stop by CVS for all of our game day needs. Last week when we were at CVS I noticed a new variety of SNICKERS® – SNICKERS® Crisper, so of course I need to try a few! Currently, CVS even has a digital coupon for SNICKERS® .
Give our popcorn buffet a try at your next football viewing party or tailgate. It really is so easy to set up and with the different offerings there is definitely something for everyone. Visit here for more game day ideas and inspiration.
