At first I was a little skeptical about a savory cookie but these rosemary pine nut cookies are delicious! They are perfect for a breakfast treat, summer luncheon, BBQ – honestly everyone is going to love them. The best part you can use the herbs from your garden this summer! And they are so easy to make.
Tiramisu is by far my favorite dessert to order in a restaurant. This recipe is a take off on a basic tiramisu filling but using blackberries, my favorite summer berry!
Oh summertime! You have finally arrived. Nothing beats a lovely meal on the grill with a great side salad and have I created a delicious treat for you. This is a recipe for my Summer Tortellini Salad. It is super easy, great to take on picnics because there is no mayo, and nice and light!
Tiramisu is by far my favorite dessert to order in a restaurant. Now that the Princess is here we don’t necessarily get to eat out as much as we used to, which is great on the waistline! However I crave tiramisu on occasion. I feel tiramisu can be a low-carb friendly treat and I made a version that does not really have a lot of sugar either. They look super cute in their mason jars and would work really nicely for a summer dinner party, friends over, etc. because you can make the a head and the actually taste better if they sit in the fridge overnight!
A friend of mine gave me some rhubarb from her garden this past week. I have never tried rhubarb before and was looking forward to creating a recipe with it. I decided to make a Rhubarb Bread. my husband and I like tasty treats with our morning coffee.
I am always looking for a way to reuse items that I have around the house. My step son is graduating from Pre-K in a few weeks and he loves cake! I thought it would be really cute to make him his own individual mini cake. I used cans ( the kind that corn, string beans come in) to bake these mini cakes.
Did you know that the delicious strawberry shortcake desert celebrates it’s birthday on June 15? Yummy! Who can resist buttery shortcake, split in half with just the right texture, sweet juicy strawberries that delight even the most jaded palate? Wait…have we discussed the whipped cream – so light and ethereal that you are convinced angels were tasked with whipping the cream.
- Combine all ingredients together. I usually put about 5 or 6 good shakes of Franks Hot Sauce.
- Let sit in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. (The longer the better!)
