So what do we need and how do we make them? Follow me.
Gather your ingredients: Bite size pretzels, caramels, chocolate and festive sprinkles. I used the products below but whatever you have on hand would work. This is also a good way to get rid of any chocolate that you had left over in the house from the holidays!
Unwrap the caramels (if needed) and put them in a microwave safe bowl. Heat the caramel, in 30 second increments, stirring as you go until it is a nice smooth consistency. Meanwhile, lay the pretzels out on a piece of wax paper in a single layer. Once the caramel is melted, drop onto pretzels by spoonful. Be careful, the caramel is hot!
Unwrap the chocolate (if needed) and put them in a microwave safe bowl. Heat the chocolate, in 30 second increments, stirring as you go until it is a nice smooth consistency. Spoon onto the cooled caramel pretzels and decorate with sprinkles. Place in fridge for 1 hour until set.
Place in cute cellophane bags, add a bow and a tag and you have an easy-peezy and delicious Valentine’s Day gift. Don’t take my word for it, try it yourself and let me know how you make out.
