I love a great DIY project and was looking for a way to display all of my fabulous Chloe + Isabel jewelry that I have. A DIY jewelry frame it was! We had found some old frames last summer at garage sales, so I decided to make a jewelry display from one of the larger ones. You could probably make these with smaller frames and so a grouping over a dresser too. That may be my next project!
So what do you need for this project? Not much really. A frame, spray paint, chicken wire or caging, wire cutters, sand paper, staple gun and of course fabulous jewelry to display.
Step 1 – Spray Paint the frame. I did 2 different colors because I wanted to sand off the first layer to leave a vintage look.
Step 2 – Cut the caging to size and attach the caging to the back with a staple gun.
Step 3 – Add jewelry to display. If hanging necklaces I suggest using ‘S’ hooks.
