Tiramisu - classic no bake dessert

Prep Time: 20 Min

– 6 egg yolks  – 3/4 cup granulated sugar – 1 cup mascarpone cheese  – 1 1/2 cups strong brewed coffee  – 2 tablespoons rum or Marsala wine  – 24-30 ladyfinger cookies  – Cocoa powder

Step 1

In a heatproof bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and sugar until the mixture is smooth and pale. It should almost double in size.

Step 2

Mascarpone Magic: Stir in your mascarpone cheese, a little at a time, until everything’s smooth and silky. This is the creamy part that’s going to melt in your mouth later.

Step 3

Layer It Up: Spoon half of that delicious mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, spreading it evenly. Then, repeat the process: another layer of coffee-soaked ladyfingers, followed by the rest of the mascarpone filling.

Step 4

Chill and Set: Cover your tiramisu and pop it into the fridge for at least 4 hours. The longer, the better—overnight is ideal to let all those flavors meld together.
