The Best Peach Pound Cake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 sticks unsalted butter
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 TBSP vanilla extract
  • 2 cups peaches peeled, pitted and chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325. Spray an angel food tube pan with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
  • In the bowl of an electric mixer with paddle attachment cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy- about 5 minutes.
  • Add the eggs one at a time until incorporated.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and mix until fully incorporated.
  • Pour into prepared pan and bake for approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.
  • Cool completely.
