Icing

Confectioners Sugar combined with 3 Tbsp Milk
Instructions
CAKE 1
Preheat oven 325.
Cream butter and sugar, approx. 5 minutes.
Add eggs one at a time to combine.
Add extracts and heavy cream and mix.
Add salt, flour and baking powder and mix until just combined.
Add food coloring and blend – mixture should be pink.
Spray a 9x4 loaf pan and pour in batter.
Bake for 60-70 minutes
Cool completely then cut into 1 inch slices.
Using a heart cookie cutter, cut hearts out of each slice and put aside.
Prepare 2nd cake batter.
CAKE 2
Preheat oven 325.
Cream butter and sugar, approx. 5 minutes.
Add eggs one at a time to combine.
Add extract and milk and mix.
Add salt, flour and baking powder and mix until just combined.
Spray a 9x4 loaf pan
Stack the pink hearts in a row down the center of the loaf pan. Pour the batter of cake 2 into the loaf pan (it should cover the heart stacks.)
Bake for 60-70 minutes (check to make sure cake is done with toothpick)
Cool completely
Drizzle with icing.
Cool completely
Cut into 1 inch slices.
