Fluffernutter Squares with Marshmallow Cream Icing

Fluffernutters are a recipe with peanut butter and marshmallow fluff. I swoon for this delicious dessert bar. I mean what could be better than peanut butter and marshmallows!


For bars-

  • ¾ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 TBSP vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1-1/2 cups flour
  • ½ cup peanut butter chips

For icing –

  • ½ cup unsalted butter room temp.
  • 1 cup marshmallow fluff
  • 2 cups powdered sugar


  • Grease and line a 9” x 13" casserole pan and set aside.
  • In an electric mixer wth the paddle attachment combine the sugars and butter.
  • Add the eggs, vanilla and salt and mix. Be sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl as you go.
  • Add the peanut butter and incorporate.
  • Add the flour until just combined.
  • Fold in the peanut butter chips.
  • Spread into the prepared pan and bake for approximately 30 minutes. **Do not over bake or the bars will be dry.
  • Cool completely before frosting.
  • Make the frosting – Blend together all the ingredients for the marshmallow icing in an electric mixer.
  • Spread evenly on the peanut butter cookie bars.
  • Cut into pieces.
