The Best Chocolate Texas Sheet Cake Recipe

What is a Texas Sheet cake? It is a large cake baked in a sheet pan (13x 18) covered in chocolate frosting with pecans in the frosting. We omitted the nuts in the recipe because we do not like them. (I know, say it ain’t so!) Instead we topped ours with rainbow sprinkles. The nuts are listed in the recipe below in case you like them, if not simply omit like we do.
