30 Minute Chocolate Chip Bars

Sometimes you just need an easy go-to recipe and this is one for you! Make Chocolate Chip Cookies Bars in 30 minutes from start to finish. This recipe is so easy and you probably have all of the ingredients in your pantry.

I added mini candy coated chocolate pieces to mine to make it festive for the holiday season but you can easily mix-in whatever you like. Nuts, coconut, caramel pieces….. The possibilities are endless.

 

30 Minute Chocolate Chip Bars

INGREDIENTS

1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature

1 cup brown sugar

¼ cup sugar

2 tsp. vanilla

2 eggs

3 cups flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

1 pkg chocolate chips (or baking pieces, or whatever mix-ins you like)

 

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350.

Grease a 13×9 inch baking dish.

In an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy (4 minutes)

Add eggs and vanilla and combine.

Stir in flour, salt and baking soda.

Add chocolate chips.

Spread into prepared dish and bake for 20-22 minutes.

 

That is it- easy peezy and oh so good! These chocolate chip cookie bars are soft and gooey and are bound to make a hit at your next party, school function or cookie tray!
