Easy Peppermint Hot Chocolate
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 quart milk
- 3 OZ semisweet chocolate chips
- 3 crushed peppermint sticks
- pinch of salt
- 4 peppermint candies for garnish
- 1 cup whipped topping for garnish
Directions
- Add cocoa in a medium saucepan. Gradually whisk in milk until cocoa has dissolved. Add chocolate chips and crushed peppermint; simmer over medium heat, until chocolate and peppermint have melted about 8 to 10 minutes.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and immediately remove from heat. Add salt.
- Pour into mugs; serve each with a dollop of whipped topping and a peppermint candy.

I am such a huge fan of Wildgrain. I love that the box comes complete with pastas, breads and croissants and we truly use something from the box for each meal. My daughter has been taking the croissants to school for lunch (as well as breakfast!) and she can’t get enough of the rich, buttery flavor.
I wish I could bottle up the yummy smell with these fresh from the oven baked goods! The house will smell amazing, and they taste even better.
