The weather has changed, school has started but most importantly the new fall series are starting and our favorite, “This is Us” not only will be starting soon but will release Music from the Series, from the first season on September 15 from Ume. We can relive all of our favorite scenes with this music.
“This is Us” captivated audiences last year and was nominated for 10 Emmy Awards including Outstanding Drama Series. It documents the Pearson gamily across the decades from Jack and Rebecca as young parents to their now adult kids searching for love and healing. This show captivated me from episode one and I love watching how their fashion and style changes throughout the decades. So excited to purchase This is Us: The Complete First Season too.
This is Us: Music from the Series is comprised of 20 songs, from recognizable hits and classics to an original song. My favorite is a rare cover version of Peter Gabriel’s “Come Talk To Me” by Khosla’s critically acclaimed band Goldspot. It is an amazing cover of this song and it instantly moved me to tears. Beautiful. Reliving favorite scenes in my mind as the music was playing was awesome. It was comforting in a way that I didn’t know was possible. Take a look at the other tracks available as well:
