It’s March and with this month comes college basketball games and get togethers to root on your favorite teams. My husband played basketball in high school and he will tell you how great he was in high school. Really- he will tell you time and time again how good he and his team were back in the day! Needless to say we watch our fair share of basketball in our home.
What is a game day party without delicious treats? We like things spicy in our home and the past weekend while I was at Target I found Cheez-It Hot & Spicy Grooves and Cheez-It Srirarcha Snack Mix. Oh my goodness these baked snacks are hot, spicy and cheesy because they are made with real cheese and you can taste the difference!
Simply put out a few bowls of Cheez-It Hot & Spicy Grooves and Srirarcha Snack Mix while you are hosting your favorite basketball viewing parties paired with an icy cold drink and you are all set to get your game on! I usually like to make an easy finger food when we have people over too and I have a delicious baked cheddar cheese broccoli bite recipe that is so tasty even the kids will like it!
Baked Cheddar Cheese Broccoli Bites
Ingredients
16 oz pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained
1-1/2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
3 eggs
salt and pepper
1 cup Cheez-It Hot & Spicy Grooves, crushed
Directions
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
With your hands form small patties and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Bake for 25 minutes at 375.
Serve with Ranch dressing.
