Summer is here and we love to celebrate every day! These vanilla pudding cups with “sea glass” look just like the day at the beach. We recently were vacationing in Clearwater Beach, Florida and we spent many days looking for sea shells and sea glass. This beach pudding cup reminds me of those memories.
Beach Theme Desserts
So the “sea glass” is just a rock candy sprinkle that I found in the store but you can also order online if you want larger pieces or make your own with sugar and water and food coloring. Maybe I will do another post on making rock candy, it can be a small science experiment for the kids too!
Beach Pudding Cups
Ingredients
- 1 small pkg instant vanilla pudding (make according to package directions)
- 20 graham crackers (pulsed in a food processor)
- sea glass sprinkles
Directions
- Prepare the pudding according to the package directions.
- Divide amongst 4 plastic cups.
- Top with the crushed graham crackers.
- Add the sea glass or whatever other beachy elements you may have.
SO simple and easy. These pudding cups are easy to make and can be made a few days ahead of time. These pudding cups would be perfect for a birthday party with the following themes: beach, mermaid, shark week, pool party and more. I think these look so cute and you can easily add a beach towel, umbrella and sand pails and shovels if you would like. A beach ball gum ball would also work.
If you like to make chocolates you can create a chocolate sea shell, mermaid tail or whatever you think would work with this theme. My kids love having these sweet treats at the pond or even after dinner on most nights during the summer. I really think these adorable treats will make your children happy to celebrate their summer vacations.
