As a mom to a pre-schooler I am always worried about our bedtime routime. While my daughter who is potty trained still has the occasional wet bed in the morning. When this happens she gets really frustrated and upset and I dislike seeing her that way. We have set up a routine for her at bedtime, which seems to help.

On our last trip to CVS we saw the girls Disney GoodNites® Bedtime pants, and they are adorable. Sometimes giving children a little bit of confidence can do wonders for them to rest easy at night.

As she has grown her nighttime routine has changed a little bit, but it is just that, a routine. She knows that it is time for bed and she unwinds that way. As a teacher, I know the importance of routines with children- trust me they thrive on it.

4 Tips for Children to Wake Up Dry in the Morning

Limit drinks an hour before bedtime.

We have found that this really cuts down on the amount of times she wakes up wet

Insist on using the bathroom before bed.

This can sometimes be a bit of a battle especially when they tell you they do not have to go, but we find that if they try to go potty before bedtime we have less accidents.

Consistent bedtime routine.

We have a steady routine that consists of brushing our teeth, using the potty, reading a book and then snuggling in for a good nights sleep.

Electronics-Free a half hour before bed time.

I think reducing the electronics: tv, games, etc it provides a stress free environment and this is important before trying to settle down for bed.

Keeping my daughter safe and confident is of the utmost importance. I feel confident and secure in providing GoodNites® Bedtime pants for her to sleep in. I love when she wakes up smiling and happy- it makes for a great day! These GoodNites® Bedtime Pants look and feel like underpants so my child feels confident because they are designed to prevent leaks no matter what her sleep position. This is a good thing because she definitely sleeps in some strange positions sometimes! She thinks the designs are pretty cool as well.
