We host Thanksgiving every year and I love to have a small bite or two ready when our family and friends come by for dinner. These Cheesy Pigs in a Blanket made with Kaukauna^® Sharp Cheddar Cheese Spread are an easy way to make entertaining easy.

I am all about the easy and these Cheesy Pigs in a Blanket are delicious because I use Kaukauna^® Sharp Cheddar Cheese Spread. The sharp cheddar variety gives these appetizers just the right amount of zip.

We have been entertaining with Kaukauna^® for years. I always have a cheese ball or cheese log on hand during the holiday season for unexpected guests. Talk about tradition; the Kaukauna^® brand is celebrating 100 years in 2018. In recognition of 100 years, they have launched an updated recipe for two varieties – with no artificial anything – no artificial colors, preservatives or other ingredients with the same great taste!

Cheesy Pigs in a Blanket

 

Ingredients

1 pkg mini cocktail wieners

1 tub Kaukauna^® Sharp Cheddar Cheese Spread

2 tunes crescent roll sheets

Sesame seeds for topping, optional

Directions

Preheat oven to 375.

Roll out 1 sheet of crescent roll.

Place 4 mini cocktail wieners across one edge, leave about 2 inches and add another row ow wieners, continue 2 more times.

Using a sharp knife, score the dough in long rows.

Add a small amount of Kaukauna^® Sharp Cheddar Cheese Spread next to each wiener.

Using your knife slice the dough into individual piece to roll.

Roll each wiener and place on a baking sheet with a silicon mat.

Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly browned.

 

These are so delicious an easy to make. You can easily do the prep work in the morning and have them ready to go on a baking sheet in the fridge until right before your guests arrive and then you can pop them in the oven.
