Easy Salt dough ornaments to make with the kids

The other morning my family made our salt dough ornaments. We made two different versions, one a hand print outline to make Santa faces with for us and the grandparents and a second variety made with cookie cutters. Here is the recipe for the Salt dough and the ornaments cut out of cookie cutters.

Salt Dough Recipe

1 cup flour
1 cup salt
1/2 cup water
Roll out and make your shapes and Bake in 200 degrees oven for 2 hours.

For the cookie cutter ornaments, we spray painted them with silver spray paint and added glitter and pretty ribbon.

For the Santa faces, we painted them with red white and skin toned paint and added face details with a sharpie marker.
