As the weather changes to cool, our family schedule amps up! Between school, sports, dance, music lessons and more, we are constantly running from one place to another so having a good family meal can be hard. I love that they come in family size as well as individual portions so I can have my favorite – Eggplant Parmesan, whenever I want! Having an easy, family-favorite and single-serve meals in minutes. Pair perfectly with warm garlic bread, salad or a homemade sorbet. This easy orange sorbet recipe can be made on the weekend and put in the freezer, to have and easy and quick dessert during the week.

Easy Orange Sorbet

Ingredients

1 cup water

2/3 cup sugar

2 cups orange juice (no pulp)

1 tsp vanilla extract

3 oranges, halved and pulp scooped out

Directions

In a medium sauce pan bring the water and sugar to a boil and lower to medium heat until it thickens into a simple syrup.

Mix the orange juice, simple syrup and vanilla together.

Freeze mixture in an ice cream maker according to your products instructions.

Meanwhile, prepare your oranges. Cut in half and pulp scooped out.

Transfer soft-serve sorbet to hollowed out oranges and freeze for two hours or overnight.
