Dirt Cupcakes with Planted Carrot
Carrot Cupcakes are the perfect surprise cupcake for all the Spring holidays. These are a super cute garden inspired cupcake so that when you cut into the cupcakes it looks like a full carrot on the inside .
How do you make Garden Inspired Carrot Cupcakes?
These cupcakes are so cute and perfect for a garden themed shower or party. An Easter Brunch would also make a great occasion for these cupcakes. First Birthday, Peter Rabbit or any other Garden themed cupcakes.
Dirt Cupcakes with Planted Carrot
Ingredients:
Chocolate cupcakes
Orange frosting
Green candy grass
Directions:
Bake your cupcakes according to your favorite recipe. You can also have a look at my favorite chocolate cupcake recipe here.
Using a paring knife cut a cone shape into each cupcake.
Use the extra cupcake pieces and crumble to resemble dirt.
Frost each cupcake and dunk into the crumbs.
Fill each “hole” with orange frosting and mound on top so that it looks like a carrot.
Add grass to each top to complete the look of the carrot.
