My daughter and I both have extremely fine hair and it is almost impossible to create cute hairstyles for either one of us without the help of Goody Ouchless Elastics. We rely on the Goody Ouchless Elastics not only for their comfortable, secure hold but also their no snag feature as well. As a mom to a toddler, I have to pick which battles I want to fight and doing her hair every morning is not one of them.

My daughter loves girly accessories and she never leaves home without a big bow in her hair. Sometimes we pick up cute accessories on our many trips to Target, but we figured out how to make our own as well. We learned early on that we needed to use a Goody Ouchless Elastics first otherwise the bow would simply slide right out of her hair within the hour. These bows are so easy to make and they really finish off any outfit.

How to Make A Bow Hair Clip

Materials needed

Directions

Cut off 1-1/2” of ribbon and reserve.

Fold ribbon in zig zag- making sure to have ribbon ends on both side. (refer to photo)

Tie thread tightly around the middle of ribbon and cut off ends.

Using reserved small piece of ribbon, fold in half lengthwise and hot glue around center where the thread is.

Hot glue bow to hair clip.

**As you get better at making the bows you can graduate to larger ribbons too. These bows look cute in small and big sizes too!

My daughter’s hair looks adorable in a half up/half down hairstyle or even a bun. For the bun toddler hairstyle, work with wet hair (it makes it so much easier).

We found the Goody Ouchless Brush during our last Target Shopping trip and it has made a huge difference when brushing my daughters hair! There are no more tears for my daughter and much less frustration for mommy. This Goody Ouchless Brush has strong bristles to work through the most stubborn tangles while being gentle enough not to hurt her head. This is due to the flexible pad on the brush and I have noticed a huge difference in how much faster we are able to detangle my daughters fine hair.

This is the perfect brush to create this bun! Simply brush wet hair into a ponytail and secure with a Goody Ouchless Elastic. Then roll the ponytail from the tip back towards the base of the ponytail. Secure with bobby pins underneath and finish with a bow. Perfect for Spring!

Target has so many great options for hair styling tools and accessories with the Goody Ouchless Elastics, Goody Ouchless Brush, and the Goody Clean Radiance Oval Cushion Brush at the top of the list.
