With winter in full effect in Upstate, New York, the days sure can seem long. To break up the monotony a bit we try to make mealtime fun and these Bacon-topped jalapeno poppers are the perfect meal to enjoy for lunch, dinner, or an after-school snack. I love that you can prep them ahead of time and simply toss in the oven for 20 minutes when you are ready to eat.

Jalapeno Poppers Skillets

When making jalapeno poppers, I like to use Coleman Natural No Sugar Bacon to top off the mini skillets. Coleman Natural No Sugar Uncured Applewood Smoked Bacon contains no added nitrates or nitrites and no artificial preservatives or ingredients. Ingredients are simple: pork, water, salt and cultured celery powder. That’s it! And boy is it delicious!

My family likes to eat these mini jalapeno popper skillets for lunch served with a side salad. They are the perfect combination of cheese and spice. Plus, they are quick and easy to put together. Perfect for busy moms and dads.
