The Best Peach Pound Cake Recipe

I love making pound cake. One of my most popular recipes is my Almond Vanilla pound cake and this peach version is just as good.

Moist Peach Pound Cake Recipe

Ingredients

3 sticks unsalted butter

3 cups sugar

6 large eggs

3 cups flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

1 cup sour cream

1 TBSP vanilla extract

2 cups peaches, peeled, pitted and chopped

Directions

Preheat oven to 325. Spray an angel food tube pan with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.

In the bowl of an electric mixer with paddle attachment cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy- about 5 minutes.

Add the eggs one at a time until incorporated.

Add the remaining ingredients and mix until fully incorporated.

Pour into prepared pan and bake for approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Cool completely.

This peach pound cake does not need any icing but can be served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. This cake is delicious and should be eaten outdoors on a porch while the sun is still shining!

The next time you are at a farmer’s market and see fresh peaches for sale pick them up to make this cake, everyone who eats this cake will be in love.

This would make a great cake to bring to a bbq or outing this summer. Parents and kids alike will love this moist and sweet cake. I know my family sure did and I will definitely be picking up some more peaches soon.

Happy Baking!
