At the end of 2014 I applied to host a party showing my DisneySide @Home party via MomSelect. I was elated when I was chosen from thousands of applicants. The competition was fierce because these Disney party packs are awesome. My family was just as excited as I was to host our very own DisneySide party. I am proud to say we hosted the best DisneySide @Home Celebration ever! (or at least in my humble opinion.)
So what is in the DisneySide package? This year, Disney decided to give out many different theme boxes. We received a Mickey and Friends box which was perfectly tailored to our family. There was something in the for everyone. This is what it looked like straight out of the package:
It was such a blast to open! There were Princess Palace Pets, a Mickey Mouse Cake Pan, DisneySide Luggage Tags, Cups, Plates, Tablecoth and favor baskets. There was also Wisk Laundry Detergent, HP Paper packs and more…. much, much more!
There was so much Pixie Dust goodness that I honestly did not know where to begin. We decided just a simple “Come show your #DisneySide Celebration” was all we needed.
Oh boy! Were do I begin? Who were we going to invite! What was our theme! What will be on the menu! What games and activities will we play? Well I am proud to say we hosted the best DisneySide @Home Celebration Ever or at least in my humble opinion.
Because the weather has been so “Frozen” we decided to have our DisneySide@home celebration in conjunction with a sledding extravaganza! A little different than our original plan but we were convinced that the snow and wintry weather was not going to impact our DisneySide celebration.
We sent out are invitations using the HP Create Memories You Keep Packs that were included in our DisneySide box of goodies. I loved the glossy paper with the matching envelopes. Each party guest also went home with their very own pack to create their own photo keepsakes. They could also be entered to win great prizes by tagging @MyPrintly and using the hashtags #CMYK and #DisneySide while sharing on social media.
We made ice cream sandwiches and used the Wilton sprinkles that were in our DisneySide box. They party guests also had Minnie Mouse “cupcakes” (mini bundt cakes with mini Oreos for ears) as well as hot chocolate and popcorn. The adorable Mickey Mouse cake Pan was also put to good use! What do you think about all these tasty treats?
Each party guest also left with a small favor basket filled with candy treats, stickers, tattoos and awesome DisneySide luggage tags that they can customize with Donald, Mickey, Minnie or Goofy. We all were definitely ready to leave our frozen tundra for the magical warm land of Disney.
We all had such a great time and there was Pixie Dust everywhere! It was a good thing that our DisneySide @home celebration box came with All and Snuggle samples to help with all of the sledding laundry! We were honored to be chosen as a host of a DisneySide Celebration this year and will keep our fingers crossed for a magical box of goodies again in the future. A special thank you to DisneySide Celebrations, Mom Select Media, HP CMYK, All, Snuggle and Wisk detergents and everyone else that made this party a huge success. Remember you can always have a little Disney magic wherever you are, we sure did!
