The concept of a “smoothie bowl” has been popping up all over the Internet and I naturally wanted to give it a try. A smoothie bowl is basically a smoothie that you pour into a bowl and add nutritous toppings that you can eat with a spoon instead of drinking it. This is a great idea for people who enjoy their smoothies but prefer to “eat” their meals.

I have come to realize that I enjoy a thick smoothie and this is perfect for a smoothie bowl because you want to make a really thick smoothie so that you can have great spoonfuls of flavor in every bite!

Vanilla Honey Smoothie Bowl

1 tbsp. honey

6-8 ice cubes

Toppings

½ apple sliced thin, cinnamon, 1/4 cup Quaker® Real Medleys SuperGrains Cinnamon Apple Walnut

Directions

Place all ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth. The texture should be thick enough to eat with a spoon.
