Snacks Done Right for the Big Game

This post is sponsored by BabbleBoxx

The Big Game is right around the corner, and I think we can all agree the best part of the game are the snacks and the half-time entertainment! Well maybe a few plays of the football game as well but first things first – snacks!

We love to have a few things on hand that we can pick up in advance so no matter who shows up for the game, we have enough food on hand.

BIGS Little Caesar’s ExtraMostBestest Pepperoni Pizza Sunflower Seeds

Our middle son has been on a sunflower seed kick and these BIGS Little Caesar’s ExtraMostBestest Pepperoni Pizza Sunflower Seeds are truly the “bestest” with big pepperoni pizza flavor. These snacks are perfect for the Big Game or after-school snacks, he likes to bring a bag with him to basketball practice.

Pizza is always a favorite in our home so including pizza with BIGS fire-roasted sunflower seeds is a win-win. Big kernel crunch bursting with bold flavor, perfect for the Big Game or anytime. Have a spare bowl handy for the shells!

Slim Jim Savage Spicy

Another favorite snack are Slim Jims. The Slim Jim Savage is the beefiest of the bunch with an extra spicy kick! Our family loves the large option weighing in at 3 ounces – 3 times the size of a Slim Jim Giant Stick. Plus, its delicious and offers a protein packed snack (18 grams).

These beefy snacks are perfect on their own and have a great taste! We usually have a few varieties on hand for game day  or after-school snacks.

Dorot Gardens Chopped Basil

This frozen herb product is my most favorite new cooking product to have on hand. There is no chopping, peeling or mess, simply “pop” the herbs or vegetables out of their frozen tray for a fresh taste added to your recipes.

We made an easy spaghetti soup and the addition of 1 cube (1 teaspoon) of Dorot Garden Chopped basil, made a huge difference in flavor that is “fresher than fresh”.

Brown ground turkey in a large pan and add a jar of tomato sauce, container of chicken broth and one pop of Dorot Garden Chopped basil. Let simmer for 20 minutes, add in the pasta of your choice, and cook until the pasta is ready. Garnish with shredded mozzarella and serve.

I love to serve soup or chili when watching the Big Game because everyone can serve themselves exactly what they want!

Dorot Gardens offers 8 varieties: crushed garlic, crushed ginger, chopped basil, sautéed onions, crushed turmeric, chopped parsley, chopped cilantro, and chopped dill. Look for them in retailers nationwide in the freezer section.

We have everything ready for our Big Game viewing party and can’t wait to watch. With good food, good company, and great entertainment we have everything we need to party!
