Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Muddy Buddies Snack Mix – Movie Night Essentials
We loved watching Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse in the movie theater and were so excited when it won the Academy Award for best animated feature. This yummy muddy buddy snack mix made with Honeycomb® cereal and other easy additions, makes it the ideal snack while having movie night.

With three children we often have movie night at home and making a fun snack inspired by the movie we are watching is something we enjoy quite frequently. (I know, my kids are so lucky!!!) While preparing these snacks, it gets me in the mood to watch the movie. Creating these little “extras”, makes our time together more special. 
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
This animated movie was so much fun to watch with its action-packed scenes and lovable characters. We are introduced to Brooklyn teen Miles Morales and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse. Our family loved that there were so many options where more than one can wear the mask in this movie. 
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Muddy Buddies Snack Mix
4 cups Muddy Muddies (use your favorite recipe)
1 cup Honeycomb® cereal
¼ cup blue candy-coated chocolates
¼ cup red candy-coated chocolates
10 red licorice strings, cut into pieces
For my muddy buddy recipe, I used ½ cup chocolate chips, ½ cup peanut butter and 2 TBSP butter melted together and combined with 4 cups rice cereal, coated in 1 cup powder sugar.
Toss with the remaining ingredients.

We love muddy buddies in our home and you can easily alter the mix-ins depending on what you have in your pantry. We used Honeycomb®, because they reminded us of spiderwebs. Plus, our kids enjoy snacking on Honeycomb®, just as I did when I was their age. I love making the same memories with this modern-day classic cereal with my children.
