As a full time teacher and mom to three I use the holidays to tell the others in my life how much I appreciate them. I could not do all that I do if it was not for a lovely lady who takes care of my youngest child while I go to work and the other children attend school. She has become an integral part of our life and I consider her family. We love to make “Aunt Roe” feel special through out the year but I like to make her feel appreciated especially during the holidays and Valentine’s Day is no exception.
I decided to make Aunt Roe Strawberry and Cream Fudge this year.
She loves homemade gifts and she definitely has a sweet tooth. The new M&M’s® Strawberry that I found in Walmart this weekend inspired me to create this recipe. This fudge recipe is so easy and only needs a handful of ingredients. I am going to cut my fudge easily into squares.
Ingredients
1 -14 oz cans sweetened condensed milk
1 pkg white chocolate chips
½ teaspoon salt
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 8 oz bag M&M’s® Strawberry
1/2 8 oz bag M&M’s® Milk Chocolate
Instructions
- Line a 8x8pan with foil and coat with cooking spray.
- In a microwave bowl add chips, milk and salt and microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract and stir to combine and pour into prepared pan.
- Sprinkle the top with the M&M’s® and M&M’s® Strawberry
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
- Cut into squares or use cookie cutters.
