Sweet & Spicy Crispiest Chicken Recipe

Ingredients 2 pounds chicken breast strips ½ cup flour ¾ cup Argo® Corn Starch 1 TBSP chili powder 1 tsp seasoned salt 1 tsp Black pepper 1/2 cup water ¼ cup honey Ingredients   Stir together flour, corn starch, pepper, salt, chili powder and black pepper in a large bowl. Remove 1/2 cup of the flour mixture to a shallow pan (to use for dredging the chicken).  Set aside. Add 1/2 cup cold water and honey to the remaining flour mixture and whisk the batter to thoroughly combine. Heat oil in a large deep-sided pan over medium heat. Dredge chicken in the dry flour mixture, shaking off any excess. Place chicken in batter and turn to coat. Remove the chicken from batter, allowing excess to drip back into the bowl. Carefully place half the pieces in the hot oil. Cook until the chicken is done and remove from oil. Continue with the remainder of chicken. Serve warm.   This recipe has been a long-standing recipe that we use in our home for the crispiest chicken. We enjoy our chicken spicy, you can even add some hot sauce to the batter as well if you like it spicy like we do.
