We love spending our days basking in the sun and enjoying the beautiful weather. It seems like not that long ago we were complaining about all the snow and how cold it was. Summer to our family means spending as much time as possible outdoors. With these new floats and a delicious dessert for an afternoon snack – my family is ready! I recently made this Peanut Butter Apple Pie Trifle with all the ingredients that can be picked up on your next trip to Walmart. It seems like we always need something and I love easy to make recipes that can be whipped up in an instant.

This recipe uses a Marie Callender’s® Apple Pie, Peter Pan® Peanut Butter and a pudding/whipped cream layer too. Very easy to make and can serve a crowd which is good for us because we never know who will be stopping by.

I love using Peter Pan Peanut Butter in my recipes because it is made with wholesome, simple ingredients that I can feel good about feeding my family plus it is packed with protein. Not only does it taste great out of the jar and on sandwiches but is the perfect addition to this classic trifle.
Peanut Butter Apple Pie Trifle
Ingredients
1 Marie Callender’s® Apple Pie, baked and cooled according to package directions, cut into pieces
1 jar Peter Pan Peanut Butter, I used creamy
2 pkgs instant vanilla pudding, made according to directions
1 cup whipping cream – (homemade in canister)
Sprinkles (optional)
Directions
Arrange a layer of pie in a large glass bowl.
Spread ½ of the jar of peanut butter over the top of the pie.
Add ½ of the pudding on top of the peanut butter.
Add ½ whipped cream on top of pudding.
Repeat with the remaining ingredients in the same order, finishing with the whipped cream.
Garnish with sprinkles, if desired.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving
** Best served cold.
