We have so many traditions in our home during the holidays that sometimes it is hard to keep up. One new tradition that we will be continuing is the making of the Ultimate Holiday Milkshake using Great Value® Milk, MARS® chocolates, Ball® Jars and other products from Walmart.

My family made these ultimate milkshakes while we were settling down to watch a holiday movie together as a family. There is nothing more special to me than quality time with the family; this is definitely more special during the holiday season.

I love that these sweet treats are three gifts in one – the gift of family time making these sweet treats, the gift of a sweet treat to share with my family and friends, and the gift of a donation make a sweet trio. You can buy M&M’S® (see below) and additionally donate on milkelife.com/give.

For every purchase of M&M’S® Brand Chocolate Candies (9.4 oz or larger) at Walmart between 11/01/2017 and 12/25/2017, Mars Chocolate Inc.® will donate $5.00 to Feeding America® on behalf of its national network of food banks to secure and deliver one (1) half gallon of milk or more based on local markets. Maximum donation of $75,000.

Treat them to the sweetest gifts this year. There are so many things that you can create with all of these products but I think our Ultimate Holiday milkshakes are perfect! The M&M’S® Holiday make a spectacular display in a candy dish too!

Here’s how to make the Ultimate Holiday Milkshake

Ingredients:

2 cups Great Value® Milk

2 cups vanilla ice cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 small white powdered doughnuts

Vanilla frosting

Your favorite variety of M&M’S® – I used M&M’S® White Peppermint

One snowman face

 

Directions:

In a blender combine Great Value® Milk, vanilla ice cream and vanilla extract until smooth.

Meanwhile using a Ball® Jar, coat the rim with frosting and decorate with the M&M’S® .

Pour the milkshake into the jar.

Stack 3 mini powdered doughnuts on a straw and add the snowman face with icing.

Enjoy.

It is really simple and so tasty. Plus it looks amazing! These will fast become a new tradition for us each year to top the previous years ultimate milkshake! Pair this with your favorite holiday movie and you have quality family time and a sweet treat.
