You Must See the Rockettes – Christmas Spectacular at Radio CIty Music Hall

Last year was the first year my daughter went to see the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall starring the Rockettes. She had so much fun and enjoyed the show that we had to go back this year. Honestly this is now a yearly tradition. Be sure to stop in at Magnolia bakery right around the corner too- yum!

If you find yourself in New York City during the holiday season you must go see The Christmas Spectacular with the Rockettes. I can not believe it took me this long to go and see this show but I will be making this part of our holiday traditions for the years to come.

Reasons why you should see the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall starring the Rockettes in New York during the holidays.

Radio City Music Hall is an amazing cornerstone of Manhattan. The architecture is stunning- there are beautiful chandeliers and sweeping staircases, the restrooms have lounges where you can relax for a moment. It really is a nod to bygone days of grandeur.

Make sure you get to The Christmas Spectacular early because Santa is waiting to see you. My daughter and I got a bit of one on one time with the big guy before the show started and she was in awe when he came on to the stage a little while later.

The show featuring the Rockettes is high energy and full of music and dance. My favorite part was the Wooden Soldier number. I am amazed at the precision and the choreography of the piece. The practice time alone makes me wonder.

My daughter on the other hand absolutely loved the number with all the Santas. It was as if new Santa Clauses kept magically appearing and dancing.

I really can not say enough about this show. We had great seats in the orchestra section, my daughter was fully entertained from the moment it started and I feel good sharing something so wholesome and fun with her. On a side note the Rockefeller Christmas tree is a short walk from Radio City as well as the picture windows of Saks and Saint Patricks Cathedral. We had such a wonderful time together and I know I will cherish the memories for many years to come.
