This is a sponsored post for Mom It Forward Influencer Network on behalf of their client. All opinions are my own and yours may vary.

Summer vacation is in full swing and we are prepping for a variety of vacations. we are getting ready to pack for our trips there are always five things that we pack to ensure an easier time. With three children, anything that makes for an easier way to ensure a good time is a must for me! There are certain items that must be included in my toiletry bag and I wanted to share them with you today. Here we go!

5 Must Haves When Packing for Vacation

Laundry Bag

This seems like a no-brainer but there was a time that I did not pack a laundry bag when we went away and we just threw everything together in a suitcase when we were getting ready to leave. This really makes no sense because you get the dirty clothes mixed-in with the clean clothes and inevitably there was more laundry to do. Now in our home, we don’t need any help in making more laundry so now we pack a laundry bag that all the dirty clothes go into. When we are getting ready to leave, the laundry bag and shoes go into one of our suitcases and the clean clothes and souvenirs go into another. Time saver!

Organic Doctor® Virgin Coconut Oil

This coconut oil from Organic Doctor is the perfect moisturizer and conditioner to pack. After we have been in the sun or water all day long, our skin and hair is extremely dry and this Organic Doctor® Virgin Coconut Oil is deeply hydrating and moisturizing coconut oil that is sourced from organic farms in Sri Lanka and The Philippines. Organic Doctor is an award winning hair and skincare line from the UK and is now available in the US. They offer the finest botanical and naturally inspired ingredients to ensure that the bioactive properties of the organic ingredients in each product are truly captured. For our family it is the perfect solution to our dry skin and hair at the end of the day.

First Aid Kit

Now this first aid kit I usually have in my purse but when we are leaving for vacation I usually trade my regular purse for my travel backpack. It makes it easier to hold everything and this first aid kit is a small size but has a few necessities in it. I usually have bandages, alcohol wipes, aspirin and tweezers. This is perfect for all the bumps and bruises that our family gets. We tend to get a few more cuts and scrapes when we are away and it is handy to have a bandage on hand for those minor accidents.

Book

This is a must for me. We usually have a little down time whether it be when the children are resting if we had a busy day or before we go to bed at night. It helps me relax and unwind after a full day with the children. If you are traveling by car or by plane you might have some time that you can read. I usually have the kids each pack a book as well to give them something to do when they need a little quiet time.

Zip Top Bags

This is a must is different sizes. We use these zip top bags for putting our electronics and money in if we are going to be near the water or rationing out snacks for the little ones. You can use them for wet swimsuits and socks, jewelry, sea shell or rock collecting, change of clothes for later in the day and more. We have used them to hold our tickets in amusement parks as well.

So there you have my 5 must have picks when packing for vacation.  Taking care of your summer skin is a must – especially when you are outside so often. These are a few ideas that make our vacations a little bit easier and keep my skin looking great. Organic Doctor can be purchased at CVS nationwide or on Amazon. Be sure to pick up all of these items to make your trip a bit less stressful.
