Peanut Butter Blossoms Recipe

There is nothing better than Christmas in our home because that means it is cookie baking season! These peanut butter blossom cookies are a favorite! We bake them for about 7-8 minutes because my daughter likes the super soft!

Peanut Butter Blossoms

These are a staple for the cookie trays and holiday get togethers, they are usually the first to go!

Peanut Butter Blossoms

Ingredients

1 stick unsalted butter, room temperature

½ cup sugar

½ cup light brown sugar

½ cup peanut butter

1 egg

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

1-3/4 cup flour

48 milk chocolate kisses

Directions

In an electric mixer with the paddle attachment cream the butter with both sugars for about 5 minutes.

Add the egg and peanut butter and combine.

Add the salt, baking soda, and flour until combined.

Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Preheat oven to 375.

Take 1 TBSP of dough and roll.

Place 2-inches apart on a baking sheet with a silicon mat.

Bake 8- 10 minutes.

Press1 chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.

Cool completely before storing.

This recipe is so easy to make! I love organizing my cooking making and mix up a variety of different doughs that need to be refrigerated one day and then go on a baking spree the next day.

The best part about this cookie is that you can use different kinds of chocolate kisses for different varieties of cookies: dark chocolate, milk chocolate, peppermint swirl and more.
