When we were planning our trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic this past summer we wanted to stay at the Majestic Elegance All-Inclusive Resort. We were not really sure what to expect, but when we arrived in Punta Cana we were not disappointed with our choice. The Majestic Elegance in Punta Cana is beautiful, clean and has everything you could possibly want for a vacation with or without the family.
The Majestic Elegance room that we chose was the Junior Suite. Our room was a large, spacious one with marble floor, super huge bed, jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower with rainfall head and jets, and a balcony because we were on the 3rd floor. Upon arrival to our room we were welcomed with a bottle of champagne, and flowers all over the room.
We chose an all-inclusive resort because we thought it was the best value for our money. The Majestic Elegance has numerous restaurants you can choose from that are included in the price. We dined on lobster overlooking the ocean, sushi and hibachi in the Japenese restaurant as well as a steak dinner at the steakhouse. The buffet for breakfast was my husbands favorite as he got made-to-order omlettes every morning. I was fascinated with the crepe station during the breakfast buffet. Everything was delicious. Trust me you will not go hungry while you are here.
Besides the delicious restaurants, the pool winds around all the rooms in the resort. It never felt crowded even thou there were quite a few people staying at the resort. There were many groups of people vacationing here at the Majestic Elegance from large families, to older couples as well as newlyweds on their honeymoon. You could participate in all of the scheduled events throughout the day and night or you can meander at your own pace.
The beach is beautiful and clean. Every morning they are people on th beach cleaning up any seaweed that washes ashore. The grass hut umbrellas and lounge chairs are ample in quantity so you never have to worry about getting a prime seat. This worked out great for us because my husband likes the shade and I LOVE laying out in the sun. So we were able to have the best of both worlds every day by simply getting a lounge chair in the shade for him and a lounge chair in the sun right near him for me. Perfection.
