This is a great recipe for cinnamon spice cookies. They are chewy on the inside and have a great bite to them. These cinnamon spiced cookies are sure to be a great hot for your next party.
Cinnamon Spice Cookie Recipe

Cinnamon Spice Cookies
Makes approximately 4 dozen
Ingredients
1-1/2 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 TBSP cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 large egg
1 TBSP milk
1 tsp vanilla
¼ cup light molasses
1-1/3 cups flour
Sanding sugar (I used blue)
Directions
Preheat oven to 375.
Line baking sheets with silicon mats and set aside.
In an electric mixer with the paddle attachment cream the butter and sugar together for about 5 minutes until light and fluffy.
Add baking powder, soda, cinnamon and salt and combine.
Add egg and then the molasses.
Add the flour and beat until just blended.
Shape the dough into approx.1 TBSP size balls. Roll in sanding sugar and place 2-inches apart on baking sheets.
Bake 8-10 minutes.
These will keep in an air tight container for about a week or they freeze well too. They are a delicious cookie that everyone will love.
