11 Arkansas Buffets That Keep Food Lovers Coming Back For More

Nothing says Arkansas like a table piled high with all the classics, and somehow these buffets always hit the spot.

These 11 spots aren’t just about food, they’re about the kind of comfort that makes you grab a plate, and then another, and maybe a little dessert just because.

It’s easy to see why locals keep coming back: fried chicken that makes you nod in approval, mashed potatoes that demand a second helping, and pies that taste like Sunday afternoons at grandma’s.

Buffets are more than diversity, they’re rhythm, tradition, and adventure on your plate.

I watched the line, the clatter of dishes, and the friendly chaos that somehow always ends with full bellies.

And honestly, isn’t it fun to see what’s next on the line?

These Arkansas buffets aren’t just meals, they’re experiences, the kind that make you plan your next visit before you even finish your first plate.

With that amazing start, I headed into Little Rock, curious to see how bold the flavors could get.

Panda Garden on 2604 S Shackleford Rd Ste G, Little Rock, AR 72205, was bright and bustling, and the steam rising from the trays made it feel alive.

I gravitated toward General Tso’s chicken, sweet, tangy, and crispy outside.

The first bite made me pause, the sauce clung perfectly, not too sticky, not too thin.

The fried rice had a smoky, savory depth that tied the whole plate together.

Just like I expected from a place called “Panda,” the sushi was fantastic.

I obviously had to try something sweet here too, so I picked pastries with fresh fruits and a drip of chocolate.

I couldn’t resist another plate, because the seasoning was just that good.

The sides, from coleslaw to baked beans, felt homemade and genuine.

Golden Corral stacks options like a greatest hits album that just keeps going, and it was really exciting.

I started with a slice of their carved turkey, rich and flavorful, then moved to the mac and cheese, which was creamy and cheesy perfection.

Mashed potatoes calm the room while corn brightens the page.

Mac adds melody and greens keep the tempo grounded.

It was approachable, generous, and just plain fun.
