It is the time of year for holiday baking and for this girl I could not be any happier. Over the years I have participated in many Cookie Swaps. A cookie swap is when you and friends or colleagues get together to exchange cookies for the holiday season.
This is a great time saver for those of us who do not have the time to make twelve different kinds of cookies. You simply make a large batch of one kind of cookie to bring to the exchange and leave with however many varieties of cookies there are participants.
But how do you know what kind of cookie to make for a cookie swap? Enter the Holiday Cookie Helper. This is a fun quiz from Krusteaz to help you decide what types of cookies to create. This Holiday Cookie Helper provides a great deal of inspiration for holiday cookie making.
Holiday Cookie Helper Cookies
I decided to make Snowman Butter Vanilla Sugar Cookies using Krusteaz Butter Vanilla Sugar Cookie mix. I love how cute and easy they were to make. Simply follow the package instructions for making rolled, shaped cookies and using a circle cookie cutter or glass cut out circle shapes and bake in a 350 degree oven for about 12 minutes. Cool completely then ice with vanilla frosting. Use brown and orange sprinkle for the snowman’s face. Adorable.
Package the cookies in cute winter bags and tie with ribbon for the ultimate in cookie swap presentation.
Krusteaz has a variety of recipes and baking mixes for your entire holiday cookie swap needs. Be sure to try out the Holiday Cookie Helper and host your very own cookie swap this year. Trust me- it is so much easier to make one kind of cookie instead of getting the ingredients and baking numerous cookies. Check it out today!
