Fall weather, check. Sweaters, check. Football season, check. We are huge football fans in our home and for me it started many years ago when I danced for my university during football games. We would travel from college to college and perform and cheer on our team, it was an amazing experience and I loved it. My husband and I also play Fantasy Football on the same league and don’t tell anyone but I am currently in first place. (Insert eye roll from my hubby here!)
Football Sundays are a weekly occurrence and we love to watch cheer and eat. We make pizza and my famous Chili Queso Dip because you really can’t cheer for your favorite team without delicious treats. We enjoy Tony’s® Pizzeria Style Cheese Pizza to dip into the queso. Trust me, it is so good. One bite and you will be hooked!

We vary our pizza toppings from Tony’s® Pizzeria Style Sausage & Pepperoni Pizza to Tony’s® Pizzeria Style MEAT-TRIO® Pizza, but one thing that remains constant is that football is on TV. We love this brand of pizza because Tony’s Pizza has been serving authentic pizza for over 50 years. We love the light, crispy crust with sauce made from real tomatoes and 100% real mozzarella cheese
Chili Queso Dip
1 can ready made chili
2.5 cups shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
1 TBSP cornstarch
1 13oz can evaporated milk
1 15 oz can diced tomatoes, drained
Toss the cheese with cornstarch.
In a medium pot heat the chili and tomatoes over medium heat until warm.
Add the cheese and milk until it becomes creamy and smooth.
Welcome to what we eat every time there is a football game on whether it is Monday Night Football or Friday Night Lights. You can find all of us cheering on our favorite teams with great company and good food that we picked up at Walmart. This dip has just the right amount of spice and the evaporated milk gives the perfect creamy consistency.
