There is nothing better in the fall then a warm apple dessert. This delicious Caramel Apple Crisp Baked Apples recipe is the perfect dessert recipe made in my Pampered Chef Deep Covered Baker.

Caramel Apple Crisp Baked Apples

I love to bake on the weekends and this dish made our home smell delicious! It was like an apple orchard exploded in our house. We have an apple crisp  recipe that we enjoy too but these baked apples were so easy to make!

How to make  Baked Apples

 

Ingredients

6 apples- Honeycrisp, cored

2 TBSP sugar

1 tsp cornstarch

1 tsp lemon juice

¼ cup flour

¼ cup oats

¼ brown sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

½ tsp nutmeg

3 TBSP cold butter, chopped into pieces

 

 

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Using a spoon dig out the centers of the apples leaving a bowl. Keep the scooped-out apple for the filling in a medium bowl.

Add the 6 apples to the bottom of the Pampered Chef Deep Covered Baker.

Add the cornstarch, sugar, baking powder, oats, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the apple and combine.

Pour the mixture into each apple and top with a few pats of butter.

Cover and bake for 30-40 minutes.

Serve with ice cream, caramel sauce and whipped cream.
