A sweet, funfetti cheese ball that is full of rainbow sprinkles and rolled in crushed frosted animal crackers. This dessert is shaped into an the rabbit shaped Peeps and topped with pink sanding sugar.
My daughter absolutely LOVES Peeps and looks forward to the Spring each year for the delicious marshmallow confections. We loved having this adorable Easter dessert which is so easy to make.
Easter Peeps Cheese Ball
Ingredients
2- 8 oz packages cream cheese, softened
1 stick butter, room temperature
½ cup rainbow sprinkles
1-10 oz pkg Instant Jell-O pudding (dry mix)
2 cups white frosted animal crackers
Pink Sanding Sugar
3 black sprinkles
Directions
In a food processor, add the animal crackers and process until fine.
Put the cream cheese, butter, sprinkles, and vanilla pudding mix into a large bowl.
Knead with your hands until well combined.
Divide the dough into two medium size balls and two small balls.
Roll each ball in sanding sugar.
Shape the balls into the Peeps bunny shape as shown.
Place on serving platter.
Add more sanding sugar as needed.
Place the black sprinkles as eyes and a mouth as shown.
