Christmas Gumdrop Cookies
Christmas will be here before you know it and these Gumdrop Cookies are on my baking list for cookie exchanges this year. This is the different cookie that you are looking for to add to your cookie platters this year.
This is an easy recipe that you probably have all of the ingredients for in your pantry. You can use spiced gum drops or regular (think JuJu Bees) for a fun holiday cookie.

- sugar
- egg
- almond extract
- flour
- baking soda
- salt
- gumdrops

Yes, you can! Once completely cool, place in a freezer bag and thaw on the counter before serving.

Gumdrop Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
1-1/2 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp almond extract
1-3/4 cup flour
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup mini gumdrops, chopped
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350.
Cream the butter and sugar together in an electric mixer with the paddle attachment until light and fluffy. Add in the egg and almond extract.
Add the flour, baking soda and salt, mix well.
Fold in the gum drops.
Scoop cookies out using a cookie scoop onto silicon mats on a cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
Bake 12-15 minutes.
Cool completely
