For the past few months I have been following a healthy diet and exercising at least 30 minutes a day. I had back surgery a little over a year ago so my cardio activities are limited, but I try to at least incorporate a 30-minute walk per day. Most of the time I have to take the kids with me, but they don’t seem to mind. They usually just run ahead and look for birds, nests, butterflies, etc.

I try to get down to our nearby mall (45 minutes away) at least once a week. While I am down there doing some shopping, I like to pick up food as a special treat. Panera is one of my favorite places to either eat in or take out because of their clean salad choices and filling soups.
One of my favorite salads is the Greek with Chicken Salad. I love the fresh lettuce, tomatoes, kalamata olive and feta cheese. If you ask for the dressing on the side, you can control how much dressing you put on your salad. Panera Greek dressing is light yet creamy and has just the right amount of bite to it – plus it’s free of artificial preservatives, flavors, colors, and sweeteners!
Another Panera favorite is their Chicken Caesar Salad. Oh boy, the crisp lettuce and crunchy croutons are to die for! The Caesar salad dressing is creamy and delicious.
Even when these salads are packaged for takeout, they look picture-perfect. I have ordered these salads on numerous occasions to go and I have never been disappointed. The convenience of ordering online is the perfect time saver. You do not have to wait in a line to place your order or wait for it to be delivered to your table. Simply order online and all your food is ready and waiting for you at the time you specify during your Panera checkout. Honestly, I cannot tell you how convenient this process is! You’ll have to just go and try for yourself.
Also, I love how fresh and clean the Panera salads are. I don’t feel like I am cheating on my healthy eating habits when I order these clean salads that taste so delicious.
My weekly trip to Panera is honestly the highlight of my week, and it gets especially tasty when I can try a mix of their fresh and filling flavors with the half salad and cup of soup option. For example, their Low-Fat Vegetarian Black Bean Soup is delicious with just the right amount of spice…
