How to Make Vegan maple Ice Cream – Nice Cream
Vegan Maple Nice Cream
Maple Nice Cream
We love ice cream in our home but sometimes we like a lighter treat and this Maple Sea Salt Nice Cream is exactly what I am craving. I love coconut cream and the addition of this cream for this ice cream gives it a bit of a tropical flavor. Yummy!
How to Make Vegan maple Ice Cream – Nice Cream
Ingredients
One can of full fat coconut cream { approx. 15 oz}
¼ cup of pure maple sugar
A dash of quality sea salt
Please Note *The can of coconut cream needs to be cold and set in the fridge for at least 6 hours so the cream and water can separate (no shaking during this time), you only use the cream, so the water can be saved for smoothies or other recipes.
Instructions
Separate the cream from the water and put the cream into the bottom of the blender.
Add the maple sugar and salt.
Blend the everything together until it is combined and completely smooth. {Depending on your blender, you may need to stop and scrape down the sides a couple of times.}
When the nice cream has come together spoon it into your cones or dishes and then set them in the freezer for about 20 to 30 minutes.
This will help everything chill nicely without freezing solid.
This nice cream is best enjoyed immediately – it would be difficult to scoop out and serve once frozen solid. But if you want to make ahead, let the ice cream come to room temperature a bit before scooping.
