I was invited to the New York Baby Show from Momtrends. All opinions are my own and yours may vary.
Last weekend the New York Baby Show was held on Pier 94 in New York City. There were over 200 brands in attendance and I was quite overwhelmed by what was seen there. First, Momtrends had a Blogger Lounge at the New York Baby Show where they were broadcasting live from the #MTBloggerLounge and the show had something for everyone whether you are an expectant mother, mom to a newborn, have been around the block a few times or have a few children at different ages. I was so excited to witness all the awesome and informational products that were available.
So let’s get to it – what were my TOP 3 PICKS at the NEW YORK BABY SHOW and most importantly why:
CHESS AT THREE
OK, so just the concept I was pretty amazed by- my child could learn how to platy chess at age three- seriously? Not only were every single person at their both helpful, fun, and engaging but the whole idea just made sense. The way they were teaching and engaging the various children at their booth was amazing. They had both my 8-year old and just 5-year old children equally engaged and having fun- I was hooked. The more I learned about how they taught the concepts and ideas- completely smitten.
The instructors (or dare I saw actors) were engaging, entertaining and fun- they had them hooked within minutes AND they were actually learning primary concepts of chess within minutes.
Kudos Chess at Three- you totally have something here. If you live close enough to partake in classes, I highly recommended you attending. They offer classes in New York, Chicago, St. Louis, Los Angeles and Nashville- check them out- you will definitely thank me. I wish we lived closer in order to attend classes on a regular basis- I was completely smitten by what they had developed- good job!
MINA KAY BAGS
So these bags are not only gorgeous but can be used on a regular basis. I love the design aesthetic, colors and more, these bags not only work as a baby or diaper bag but can definitely work for when your babies have grown up and need a family bag. I was completely smitten by the Backpack. The backpack comes in 3 colors: black, camel and burgundy and are the perfect size for a functional bag that you and your family may need for when you are traveling and are affordable, functional and stylish.
I love that these bags have a lift out mini tote- so you can put all your essentials in this tote and then easily move from different bags quickly- no matter what you are doing. Plus these bags are so chic. They are made from Italian Leather and are given a water resistant finish so you do not have to worry about spills or rain.
As a backpack it gives you the ability to have to hands free and the backpack design distributes the weight equally which is super important to me AND it looks oh so good!
SAVOR – THE LIBRARY: SCHOOL YEARS EDITION KEEPSAKE BOX
OK so I thought I was pretty smart- that I nailed it with my third child. I have a manila folder that I have been collecting all of her mementos from Pre-school this year. Yup- this is what I was going to do keep an envelope of great things in a folder. So SAVOR took this idea and made it so much better!
This keepsake box puts everything in one place in a sturdy custom dyed fabric box. SO not only will you have every awkward school photo, poem for Mother’s Day and more but it will be kept for their entire school years in a beautiful keepsake box.
Just think how easy it will be to find those pictures that you want to use for their senior high school yearbook. Awesome.
I have to say I am completely impressed with the two volumes that hold memories for ages 4+, “Work” for in-school items and “Whimsy” for outside school, plus acetate Initials to personalize the box. I am so impressed at how easy Savor has made it for you to keep your children’s stuff. You will be the hero in 20+ years and it is all housed in one box to make it easy to look back on.
Not only does SAVOR have a school year version but there is also a baby box edition as well. Where were you when my babies were little?
Thank you to Momtrends for holding a Blogger Lounge so that it was easy to see everything that the New York baby how had to offer. There were my top three picks of the show but I know my blogger friends all had different products that they felt made their Top 3. Be sure to check them all out- I know you will not be disappointed.
