Red, White and Blue Oreos
These red, white and blue OERO cookies are a fun and festive treat for all of the summer patriotic holidays. Get the kids involved in making this patriotic treat by letting them dip or add the sprinkles. These tasty cookie treats will surely be a hit!
We love having patriotic desserts for Memorial Day weekend and Fourth of July! Some of our favorites are layered jello cups, chocolate dipped marshmallows and fruit pizza. The perfect choices to reconnect
Red white and blue desserts: Oreos
Prep time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 package OREO cookies
- ½ cup red candy melts
- ½ cup royal blue candy melts
- ½ cup bright white candy melts
- red, white and blue sprinkles
- parchment paper
Directions:
- Line a tray or baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pour each color of candy melts into separate microwave safe dishes.
- Heat in the microwave on high for 1 minute, remove and stir well.
- Heat in 30 second intervals, until fully melted, stirring well between each heat session.
- Once candy is melted, dip cookies halfway into the melted candy, and place on a parchment paper lined tray.
- Add sprinkles.
- Allow candy coated cookies to set, and enjoy!
