Captain Marvel Inspired Dessert – Fire Themed Cookie Cups
I created a Captain Marvel inspired dessert in preparation for the NEW Marvel movie – Captain Marvel coming to theatres this March 2019. This fire themed dessert would be perfect for a viewing party or birthday.
Captain Marvel Inspired Dessert – Fire Themed Cookie Cups
We are HUGE fans of all of the Marvel movies but my daughter and I have been totally looking forward to Captain Marvel. We know that Brie Larson will knock it out of the park in this one and we wanted to create a dessert that was fire themed to go with her special powers. This Fire Themed Cookie Cup is just what your dessert table needs.
Captain Marvel Dessert – Fire Themed Cookie Cups
Ingredients
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature
½ cup cup sugar
½ cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1-1/2 cups chocolate chips
2 drops orange food coloring
2 drops yellow
Tub vanilla icing
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350.
Spray 18 muffin pans with non stick spray and set aside.
In an electric mixer with a paddle attachment, cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs and vanilla and combine.
Add the dry ingredients and combine.
Divide the batter amongst the 18 tins and bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven.
Press a 1 TBSP scoop into the center of each and press down the middle.
Bake for an additional 5 minutes or until brown.
Press a 1 TBSP scoop into the center of each and press down the middle.
Cool completely,
Divide the frosting into 2 bowls. Mix one orange and one yellow.
Place into frosting bags and pipe into cooled cups to make “fire” like icing.
These Captain Marvel inspired desserts are the cutest cookie for a dessert table. I love the color of this fire themed dessert is awesome.
