What you need for a Horse Cupcake Topper

Ingredients

(to make 12 cupcake toppers)

1 pkg Milano Cookies

Black writing gel

12 Nilla Wafers

12 Tootsie Rolls, bite size

24 candy eyes

Chocolate frosting

12 pull-apart rainbow licorices

Directions

Make 12 smiley faces using the black writing on each of the Nilla Wafers.

Using a small portion of chocolate frosting on the bottom of the Milano cookie, press the Nilla wafter (snout) on to the bottom of each cookie.

Press a piece of rainbow licorice around the Nilla wafer, to look like a harness.

Cut the end of each Tootsie roll on a diagonal to make ears.

Attach the ears to the tops of the Milano cookies with a small amount of frosting.

Attach the eyes with a small amount of frosting.

Pipe a small tuft of hair with a pastry bag.

Place on top of each cupcake and serve.

These horse heads are ADORABLE!! I love how the look and how they can be used for a variety of different party themes, movies or just because. Make the everyday special.

This is a fun recipe to make with your family. My kids loved to help with each step of the process. Get your kids involved in baking activities at home, they can learn so much by being with you in the kitchen.

Happy Baking!
