Easy Apple Bars
The fall is the perfect time to make apple desserts and this super easy apple bar recipe is the perfect combination of sweet apples and spicy cinnamon. Your house will smell amazing with this dessert in the oven.
We like making a bar with our apple picking haul because it is easy to make and they are thick, soft and delicious. You can use a combination of brown sugar and regular sugar if you would like as well. Simply swap out 1 cup regular sugar for 1 cup light brown sugar.
One Bowl Apple Bars
Ingredients
2 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 TBSP cinnamon
3 cups diced apples (we used HoneyCrisp)
Directions
Spray a 13 x9 baking dish with non-tick spray. Set Aside. Preheat oven to 350.
In an electric mixer with the paddle attachment, combine all the ingredients, adding the apples last.
When fully combined, pour into prepared pan.
Bake for 60 minutes.
Cool and serve.
