Another great dessert recipe to make and this recipe for a no bake banana spilt cake is easy and delicious. Simply layer the ingredients in the orders below and you will have a yummy treat!
This is another recipe from an envelope that my mom recently gave me. These were from her club meeting days where she and her girlfriends would get together once a month and talk, gossip and catch-up.
How to Make No Bake Banana Split Cake
Ingredients
1 stick butter, melted
1-1/2 ups graham crackers
2 egg whites
2 cups confectioners’ sugar
8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
¾ bananas
1 large can crushed pineapple
9 oz carton of cool whip
½ cup maraschino cherries
Chocolate syrup
Directions
Combine the butter and graham crackers together and press into the bottom of a 9×13 inch cake pan.
Beat the egg whites and sugar with an electric mixer until combined. Add cream cheese and beat until smooth.
Spread over graham cracker crust.
Slice the bananas and layer on the cream cheese mixture.
Drain the pineapple and spread over bananas.
Sprinkle ½ of the nuts over the pineapple.
Spread the cool whip evenly over all the layers.
Garnish with the rest of the nuts, cherries and chocolate syrup.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Serve.
**You can make this a day ahead of time, do not add garnish until ready to serve.**
This recipe is so good and we are definitely going to add this to our list of easy desserts to make. This is perfect for the Summer when you do not want to turn your oven on and can be made the day before a get-together.
