Marshmallow Web Cookies

Halloween will be here before you know it and we have the cutest Halloween cookies that are not only adorable but delicious too. These mummy cookies are a double chocolate chip cookie with a marshmallowwebbing accross the top. Your kids will love these cookies.

 

Halloween Cookie Recipe

Ingredients

2.5 cups flour – sifted

1.5 cups sugar – sifted

1.5 cups chocolate chips

½ cup cocoa powder

12 oz mini marshmallows

1 cup shortening – room temperature

2 eggs

½ tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

2 tsp vanilla extract

Eyeball candies/ sprinkles optional

Directions

Combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and baking soda and whisk

Combine shortening, vanilla extract, and eggs (in a separate bowl) and beat until combined

Slowly add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk until thoroughly combined

Fold in the chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 350

Make 18-20 cookie dough balls on a cookie sheet

Bake for 15 minutes

Chill

Melt marshmallows in a bowl and whisk with a fork

Use your fingers to pinch the marshmallows and pull apart strings over the cookies

Add sprinkles or eyeball candies as you please
